Our 90s Spring Break Playlist

Posted on 11 March 2016

It's spring break season and many of you are going off on vacation with friends or family for some R and R. We just hope that you all have a great time and have some awesome
tunes, so we put together some of our favorite songs from the 90s that will get you dancing and reminiscing on the great music from that decade.

Now you can't talk about a 90s playlist without referencing the amazing song that put
this decade on the map, and that is “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by NIRVANA.
This song embodies both teen angst and some great dark undertones that we can all
relate to.

The 90s could be labeled as one of the best times for Indie rock bands to make a name
for themselves, which is where “Pink Triangle” by Weezer comes in.

Girls have power and we are all laying down the rules and showing the world who is boss. Here is “No Scrubs” by TLC.

This song speaks for itself and Jay Z is just about the only person that would tell Foxy
Brown “Don’t shake your sassy ass in front of me”, here is “I’ll Be” by Foxy Brown ft. Jay Z

Ever wonder where the term ‘crunk’ came from? Well we can thank the song ‘Rosa
Parks’ by OutKast.

Rolling in are the former new kids on the block “‘Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” by Dr. Dre and Snoop
Dog.

Do you remember how much swag and soul rap used to have back in the 90s? Well
no song embodied this more then “No Diggity” by Blackstreet.

For all the ladies that grew up watching Clueless I give you “Alright” by Supergrass.

Another Weezer song makes our playlist with their “Undone The Sweater Song”, who
knew songs about destroying sweaters could be so great.

Then to end our list we have Big Pun feat. Joe “Still Not a Player” bringing us soul and
some real Hip Hop.
